Team Metro, owned by Steve Boyd, Melissa McEachern and Kim Smith became WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Team Metro in July 2005 to offer Catawba County with “cutting edge, top of the line” real estate services.

Kim Smith, Broker in Charge of the franchise, has been a licensed broker since 1996 and the Managing Broker of Weichert Realtors - Team Metro since 1998.

Melissa McEachern had 10 years in the banking industry before being licensed as a sales associate in 1995 and as a broker in 1998. Her contribution to the company is the unique combination of real estate and mortgage lending/loan closing experience.

Steve Boyd, a licensed broker since 1998, has more than 20 years in real estate— as former owner of Boyd Properties, followed by stints as commercial department supervisor for two other franchised organizations.

WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Team Metro opened with eight real estate professionals and maintains an ambitious recruiting program to build the sales team and service to the market.
