Michael Telesca “Energy, energy, energy with a sense of humor” is how a peer once described Michael Telesca on a Teacher of the Year recommendation. With a blue collar work ethic, working long and unusual hours is a routine component of Michael’s personality. He has completed countless hours of business training in various areas beneficial to the marketing of real estate including; computer technology, business, marketing, accounting and human resource management. Michael has spent the past fourteen years teaching middle school for the Hickory City, Alexander and Caldwell County school systems. During this time he garnered five Teacher of the Year awards for excellence in teaching. Simultaneously, Michael ran a successful car and truck rental business. Prior to his move to North Carolina fourteen years ago, he lived in Chemung, New York where his family ran a NASCAR sanctioned race track. As the son of a real estate developer and licensed broker, Michael spent the majority of his life in Naugatuck, Connecticut assisting in the family real estate business. He attended the University of Connecticut where he majored in Real Estate before earning his Master’s Degree in Education. Michael has also served in the United States Armed Forces as an Infantry officer and Army Paratrooper. Michael’s proudest accomplishment is being the father to his son Andrew, with whom he backpacked Europe this past summer. Andrew attended Hibriten High School in Caldwell County where he lettered in football. He recently graduated from the prestigious North Carolina School of Math and Science in Durham and is currently attending North Carolina State University where he majors in Physics.
With
Michael’s business, real estate, military, and education background, he
could literally live anywhere. However, he has chosen to call this part
of North Carolina his home. “The
factors which initially drew me here are the same ones which will keep
me here forever: magnificent climate, friendly people, southern
hospitality, a spiritual and ethical lifestyle, nice standard of living,
and of course the full spectrum in regards to geography.”
Michael choose to see the positives of staying and working in the
Caldwell County area, and he is prepared to make a difference in helping
you meet all your real estate needs, from selling your present real
estate to finding your dream home.
