Background and Accomplishments

Gene was born and raised in the Catawba Valley. Graduating from East Burke High School in 1993, he attended Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn. Returning to North Carolina in 1996 to reunite and marry his “high school sweetheart”, he has continued to reside in the Hickory area. Gene comes from a family of successful Restaurateurs, and possesses personal and institutional knowledge in business and marketing. Enjoying a long career in sales, marketing, customer service and sales management, Gene decided to turn a passion of successful real estate investing into a career that he could utilize the sales and marketing experience to help people with the largest purchasing decision of a lifetime. Gene has managed personal investment rental properties in which he has enjoyed seeing his tenets grow their personal situations into the ability to purchase their own homes.

Gene lives in Hickory with his wife of 10 years, Chasity (a hospitality property manager in the Caldwell country area), in a Historic Kenworth home. He is a cancer survivor with strong community and charitable involvements. One such involvement is his annual participation with a youth theatre group known as the “Playmakers for Christ” as their drummer.
